About the Artist

JKay Alva is a self-taught artist. Born in 1977 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA; Kellyanne took to art as soon as she was able to hold a crayon. Throughout her childhood, K developed an appreciation for her majestic surroundings. She would often sit in tress for hours with pastels and pad, or sit in a meadow with watercolor and canvas. Years of artistic expression made it clear that K's life would be centered upon her passion for art. After high school, K attended New World School of the Arts college where she discovered dancing and multimedia.

 
K is now a professional artist full-time. She lives in Fort Lauderdale FL with her husband Sergio,
and two pets, Fishi Betta Fish and Minina Calico Cat.
